Dr. Bennett proudly joined the Amen Clinics team
in 2013 after having extensive experience in
multiple mental health settings. He has worked
in mental health centers, crisis care centers, dual
diagnosis units as well as most recently being a
medical director in the mental health department
of corrections for the state of Georgia. He has more
than 25 years of experience working with the full
spectrum of mental health disorders. By using a
combination of treatment approaches Dr. Bennett
specializes in treating patients with ADHD, anxiety,
depression, bipolar disorder and problems with
memory and concentration.

A lifelong learner, Dr. Bennett is completing his
Master’s degree in Metabolic and Nutritional
Medicine at the University of South Florida’s
Medical School. He makes it a goal for each
patient to learn at least one new stress reduction
technique during their first appointment.
In his spare time you may find Dr. Bennett playing
guitar or singing with his wife and 3 children;
sometimes his golden retriever Dewey may howl
some harmonies. With his love of knowledge
Dr. Bennett brings a wealth of experience and a
passion for looking at the whole picture.
